I’m not naive enough to believe this will all be over at the stroke of midnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m not foolish enough to think things go back to “normal” on January 1st of the New Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am not that unaware of the many challenges both unresolved and not yet realized or articulated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am not shallow enough to realize we have yet to resurface from our deep dive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I am bruised enough to know I can still feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am exhausted enough to know I’m ready to be awakened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am numbed but can still feel the bounce called hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goodbye, 2020.<\/p>\n
